Bandage Pad
The Mudtek® bandage pads are available as front or hind pads in one size only, 40cm x 50cm. They offer the user the opportunity to cut and size the pad to shape Once cut to shape the pad can be applied and held in place under stable bandages. The pad is breathable and can be machine washed.
Construction of Layers
Application Instructions
- Ensure the horse's leg is clean and free from mud
- Cut the pad to shape ensuring the best possible fit for the horse's leg
- Apply the pad to the lower leg with the fleece on the outside
- Bandage over the pad with a stable bandage, holding the pad in place
Care Instructions
- Machine wash at 40oC using washing soda/soda crystals (sodium carbonate)
- DO NOT use modern washing detergents or fabric softeners, as these will cause immediate deactivation the Zorflex® layer
